About the event
Join us for a 5-night, 4-day workshop from Sunday, 29th November to Friday, 4th December 2027 at the Mpala Research Centre. This all-inclusive event is tailored for participants from East African Community (EAC) countries, including Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, the DRC, Somalia, Burundi, and South Sudan, as well as international attendees, with tiered pricing available for both groups.
Your ticket fee covers 4-days workshop, fully equipped facilities, high-speed internet in common areas, all meals, snacks, and a selection of comfortable accommodation ranging from shared river camping to shared twin rooms. There is also a ranch house option that would suit a research group of up to 9 people.
Please note, Mpala is a small, remote research centre with limited accommodation options, therefore, accommodation is shared. If you have a preference for your room companion, please email africanbioacoustics@gmail.com upon ticket purchase.

This ticket includes a 4-day workshop and 5 nights full board accommodation. Full board accommodation options include: 1. River Camp Glamping: 2 people sharing per tent, with shared bathrooms. 2. Private Twin Room: 2 people sharing per room, with shared bathrooms. 3. The Ranch House is a luxury cottage for up to 9 people. Please note all costs are per person.
