Join us for the Little Bioacoustics Jamii workshop retreat
A 4-day immersive bioacoustics networking and knowledge sharing retreat, deep in the heart of the Laikipia Plateau in Kenya, which aims to establish best practices in acoustic data collection, archiving, analysis, big datasets, and machine learning methods for automated detection.
Location: Mpala Research Centre, Nanyuki, Kenya
Date: 29 November - 04 December 2026.
This networking and collaborative event will offer an important round up for the "Big Year of African Sounds" 2026 event - a collaborative push to increase the representation of African species in online sound libraries.
